Matt Striker welcomes the ladies and tells them in two weeks we have our first elimination. As Striker is listing the Rookie’s accomplishments thus far, Vickie Guerrero interrupts. She comes out to the ring, shrieking. She says what Kaitlyn did last week was impressive, but it was because of Vickie that she did so well. Tonight, she’s facing Jamie. And to make sure she succeeds, she has brought some friends to help coach her.
Out comes Laycool, with matching Diva’s Championship Belts. They flatter Vickie and tell Kaitlyn to be thankful to have her as a pro. They take credit for Kaval winning Season 2, and suggest Kaitlyn pay attention. They pick on Jamie for having The Bella Twins as pros. They run down each Rookie one by one. McCool says that Maxine, “the one in black”, scares her and tells Aksana to “speak English”! LayCool continues that A.J. looks like a “cute little mouse” and accuses Naomi of looking at Kaval and saying that Kaval is the “property of LayCool”!
Kelly Kelly has had enough! She comes to the ring and challenges it be a three-on-three tag match: Kelly Kelly and Naomi and Jamie vs. LayCool and Kaitlyn. LayCool accept!
Co-Unified Divas Champions Michelle McCool & Layla and Kaitlyn vs. Kelly Kelly, Naomi and Jamie
In the end, it was Naomi reversing a pinfall attempt by Kaitlyn en route to picking up the win. After the match, LayCool gets in the face of Kaitlyn for losing the match and Kaitlyn would shove Michelle McCool, which would lead to Layla holding the ankle of Kaitlyn as Michelle McCool delivers a vicious kick to the face of the Rookie Diva.

Michelle McCool and Layla come out and Michelle introduces the man who is number one in their hearts and they bring out Kaval.
The rookies will wrestle tonight in a Triple Threat Match. Kaval pushes Miz and Riley and McGillicutty fight. Kofi throws Miz out of the ring and Michael throws Riley to the floor.
Alex Riley def. Kaval and Michael McGillicutty
There is an elimination now and the first one eliminated tonight is Alex Riley.
Matt Striker is in the ring with Michael and Kaval. He has then stand face to chin and they will get to say why the other should be eliminated and why they should win.
Michael asks if Kaval is Michelle and Layla’s adopted ninja baby. He tells Kaval that this isn’t a swimming pool, so why is he wearing a wet suit. Michael points out that it took 13 years to make it so how will he make it any further. He calls Kaval a ‘flute’ and then he says that no matter how you like it . . .buzzer goes of and Michael is out of time.
Kaval tells Michael that he was trained by Harley Race and is a third generation Superstar. He was set up perfectly. Kaval says that he came from a hard working middle class family. He is a hard working guy from New York. Kaval says that it took him 13 years to get here, but he has earned his respect around the world. Jamie Keyes introduces the WWE Pros out to the stage. LayCool are looking flawless as always with matching jackets & belts. The rookies are then introduced.
Matt Striker welcomes the three Rookies and congratulations them for making it this far. Next week will be the season finale. He asks the rookies to tell how it feels to make it this far.
Kaval says the feeling he has is indescribable. He thanks the fans for supporting him. He says he was ready to celebrate last week but it got ruined by a pro that was upset that his rookie got eliminated last week. He says that pro should’ve been upset at himself for not doing a good enough job to get his rookie to the Finals and that pro is Cody Rhodes.
Cody tells Kaval to mind his tongue and Kaval cuts him off and says Cody didn’t even earn his way into WWE, he got here because of his father. Cody asks if Kaval really believes that and wants to know what else Kaval believes in besides booster seats and bad promos (Cody’s words, not mine). Kaval says he’s one of the last of a dying breed and that he’s earned his way into the WWE ring and if Cody wants to do all that talking then he should get right in the ring and do it in front of him because it’s easy to do it 50 feet away. Cody mocks Kaval and says he’ll try and put this as politely as he can. He says Kaval is the gum that he scrapes off the bottom of his boots and calls him Napoleon. He says Kaval is just a ‘wee little’ rookie and he’s a pro so his answer is ‘no’ to coming down there. Read the rest of this entry »

At the start of NXT, Matt Striker informed the rookies that they each had one minute to speak about a topic of their choosing. Kaval said behind every great man is a great woman, and he has two of them. How nice of him to talk about LayCool like that, he really does appreciate them! And so he should! Kaval rapped and said at the end, “I’m the only reason for total, nonstop action.” Go Kaval! Percy Watson was then the first rookie to be eliminated from NXT.
Backstage, LayCool did a cheer for Kaval. Layla and Michelle then agreed Kaval was cute. Husky Harris walked by and asked Michelle, “Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?” Michelle went with the latter. Husky said she would see it his way when he beats Kaval tonight. Can someone say ‘Ewwww’!? Husky should know better than trying to hit on our Flawless Diva, he has no chance with her! Yuck!
Kaval (with LayCool) defeated Husky Harris (with Cody Rhodes) in 3:06. Kaval bled from the mouth. Kaval dominated the beginning and end of the match. He hit the Warrior’s Way (double stomp from the top rope) for the win. Great win from our Flawless Rookie!

The rookies and their pros come out. Kaval is out with the always flawless looking Co-Women’s Champions, LayCool, on his arms. They give him kisses on the cheek and then pose with their ONE bestie title!
The challenge this week is Power Punch where each Rookie had one punch at the boxing machine and the one with the highest score wins the Challenge, getting the opportunity to appear on Raw next week! Alex Riley won the challenge with a 896. Sadly, Kaval only scored a 297 but got disqualified because he kicked instead of punching it. What a shame.
There’s a 6 man tag team rematch from Raw the previous night. Kaval wins it by hitting the Warrior’s Way on the undefeated Michael McGillicutty for the three count. YAY KAVAL!!!!! It’s about time Kaval gets a win! Way to go Kaval! LayCool are shown at the top of the ramp – hugging, jumping and shouting about, as happy as could be! Awww, so proud!
After Matt Striker collects the ballots from the Pros for the poll, a match between Miz and Morrison, and the Rookies voice who they think should be eliminated – it is time for the rankings! At the number one spot is….KAVAL!!!! Finally reclaiming his rightful spot on the ranks! YAYA KAVAL!!!! Michelle and Layla are shown celebrating again!! They must be so proud of their rookie! In the end, it’s Lucky Cannon who came in last and is eliminated. Then, Matt Striker tells everyone that next week will be a double elimination. With that being said, your votes matter more than ever next week! So make sure to keep voting for Kaval to remain on top of the ranks and to avoid his elimination! As the program ends, LayCool and Kaval meet in the middle of the ramp to celebrate the #1 poll ranking together! YAY!

Lay-Cool is asked why Kaval is number one. They say he has passion, heart, skills, and smarts. He also has them and that makes him almost flawless. Kaval says we should vote for him because he has the confidence in his abilities to go toe to toe with anyone, like Evan Bourne, Randy Orton, or Rey Mysterio.
The obstacle course is next. Whoever beats the obstacle course in the shortest time gets immunity. The Obstacle Course Challenge would consist of four parts; the first would see the Rookie hop through a series of tires, then the Rookie would jump over three hurdles, each a different height, then the Rookie would have to do ten pushups, then walk across a balance beam and, finally, the Rookie must push an anvil case over the finish line. Kaval came close second at 29.1 seconds.

The first rookie challenge is the Keg Carry and the winner gets immunity. Kaval is the next to carry the keg and he says that the keg weighs as much as him so he is not going to put any strain on his body unless it is in the ring for the WWE Universe. Kaval is disqualified.
Kaval, Michael McGillicutty, and Lucky Cannon versus Alex Riley, Eli Cottonwood, and Titus O’Neil
McGillicutty punches away at Cottonwood to start it out. Cottonwood quickly comes back with a massive clothesline. O’Neil is tagged in as is Cannon. They lock up and Cannon wrenches the arm. Cannon punches away at his arm and O’Neil hits him with a forearm. Cannon has a whip reversed on him and Riley pulls his hair. Cannon then turns into a big clothesline. O’Neil stomps him and tags in Alex Riley. Riley punches Cannon in the midsection and showboats a bit. Riley punches him in the corner and stomps. Riley whips him hard into the corner and knocks McGillicutty off the apron.
Cottonwood is tagged in and he tosses Cannon across the ring. Cottonwood chokes him on the rope and bends him over the rope as well. O’Neil tags himself in and punches away at Cannon. O’Neil hits a body slam and tags Riley in. Riley hits a snapmare and applies a chin lock. Cannon fights up and tries to punch out but Riley grounds him. Riley sends him to the corner and runs into an elbow. Riley again cuts him off from making a tag. Cannon finally gets him away and tags in Kaval.
Kaval takes Riley down a few times before hitting some nice kicks for a near fall. Kaval hits a handspring wheel kick into the corner and the pin is broken up by Cottonwood and O’Neil. They throw Kaval out of the ring and he hits the ground hard. McGillicutty takes Riley out with his nice neckbreaker and gets Cottonwood out of the ring. Cannon takes O’Neil out with a dropkick. Kaval climbs the top rope and comes off with a huge Double Stomp and gets the win!
Winners: Kaval, Lucky Cannon, and Michael McGillicutty
After the match, Layla and Michelle celebrate and mark out. They have good reason to! As Michelle said previously last week, “Third times a charm!”
The NXT Rookies are standing at ringside. Matt Striker says it’s time to reveal the NXT Poll. Striker reminds them that the person in last place will be eliminated unless Lucky Cannon is there, because he has immunity. The NXT Poll results are revealed and the number one ranked rookie is…KAVAL! LayCool are ecstatic.

Kaval vs Eli Cottonwood
Laycool is standing at ringside, they have on matching tops and skinny jeans. Kaval tries to start the match off on his terms, striking the much larger man in the legs. Cottonwood just brushes it off and bullies Kaval into the corner. Kaval fights back and gets Eli to back off, and he hits him with a fancy air move. Eli staggers but he doesn’t go down, much to Lay-Kav-Ool’s chagrin, I’m sure. Kaval bounces off the ropes and attempts to slide under the legs of Eli, but the monster freak catches our plucky little Brooklyn boy and carelessly tosses him half-way across the ring into a turnbuckle.
Cottonwood takes over the match and begins to punish Kaval for just getting into the ring against him. Eventually he ends up lifting Kaval up into a huge bear hug. Laycool begin cheering on their man and bless him, Kaval begins to fight back. He strikes Eli in the head a few times and that prompts the big man to slam Kaval into the opposite corner from where they began. Kaval keeps trying but Eli grabs him by the throat. Kaval doesn’t give up and he turns Eli’s offense into an illegal submission armbar or something on the ropes. Now that’s pretty damn cool. Kaval breaks the hold right before the five and stands up on the second rope. Eli lumbers towards him but Kaval kicks him back. Eli presses forward and tries to throw Kaval across the ring again. The crafty Kaval lands on his feet and runs towards the ropes. He springs off the middle one and nails Eli in the mouth with a stunning kick.
